Heute waren wir in Caswell Bay und sind von dort aus nach Mumbles gelaufen. Wir hatten das tollste Wetter, das man sich fuer Wales wuenschen kann. Bei 24 Grad schien die Sonne, dazu kuehlte uns eine leichte Brise, die Sonne spiegelte sich im Meer, alle hatten gute Laune. In Mumbles ging jeder seinen eigenen Interessen nach, doch fast alle folgten dem Rat von Miss James, bei Joe's Eisdiele ein Eis zu holen. Das Sundae-Eis kannten viele unserer Schueler nicht: Vanille- oder Softeis wird mit verschiedenen Sossen geschichtet. Viele Schueler wollten unbedingt im Wasser schwimmen. Das konnte leider nicht erlaubt werden, aber immerhin konnten sie ihre Fuesse abkuehlen.

Today we went to Caswell Bay and took a walk to Mumbles. We had the best weather we could ever have had in Wales. The sun was shining, it was 24 degrees and a mild breeze was cooling us off. The sun was reflected on the surface of the sea and everybody was in a good mood. In Mumbles, everybody did what they wanted to do, but almost everybody followed Miss James' advice to get an ice-cream at Joe's Ice-Cream Parlour. Many of our pupils didn't know sundaes: It's vanilla-flavoured ice-cream layered with different kinds of sauces in between. Many pupils wanted to go for a swim in the sea. Sadly, they weren't allowed to do that, but at least they could cool their feet.
