We had a fantastic day today at the Reptile House (the biggest in Germany) - a little scary though - 5-6 metre anacondas are not really my cup of tea!! But...when in Rome...! Off shopping in Mannheim tomorrow, so a chance for the pupils to get presents for mum and dad!

We had a fantastic day today at the Reptile House (the biggest in Germany) - a little scary though - 5-6 metre anacondas are not really my cup of tea!! But...when in Rome...! Heute Nachmittag habe ich gewesen, die Reptilium. Es war sehr interessant und ich habe viel gelernt. Ich bin jetzt an Jan´s Haus und wir werden er später noch einmal schwimmen gehen. Tschüs

Heute habe Ich Reptilium nach Landau besucht. Es war interesant. Wir der bus gefahren. In der bus, es war sehr sehr warm! Ich fand es nicht so gut. In das Reptilium, Ich Spinnen, Eidechsen, Pythons, die Schildkröten und Wasserschildkröten gesehen. Ich mag die Wassersichldkröten am meisten!
Helo :D Heddiw, aethom ni i'r Reptilium. Oedd hi´n gret! (sorri Miss James..) Teithiodd ni tua awr ar y bws i gyrraedd yna. Oedd y bws yn andros o boeth! Pan cyrraeddodd ni, gwelodd ni llawer o anifeiliaid diddorol . Gwelodd ni llawer o madfall , pry cop (nicht so gut!), nadredd ac hefyd peython albino! Ond oedd fy hoff anifail yn y crwban y mor! Hello, today we went to the Reptilium. It was great! It took us about an hour to get there by bus. When we got there , we saw lots of interesting animals - spiders, snakes, lizards, pythons (one was an albino!), and loads more. I liked the sea turtles the best! After this we sat down for a bit. Then Lily got the shock of her life when Rhys threw a plastic snake at her! That was funny! And now we are going swimming with Nia and Lisa , Bye!!
Heute war sehr gut. Ich habe das Reptilium besucht. Es war sehr interessant aber ich mag die Spinnen nicht. Heute war es sehr warm und sonnig. Ich habe das Brot und die Frucht gegessen und ich habe das Mineralwasser getrunken. Dann gehen wir in das Freibad.
Roedd heddi'n dda iawn. Fe wnaethon ni mynd i'r amgueddfa ymlisgiaid. Roedd e'n diddorol iawn ond nid ydw i'n hoffi pri cop. Fe wnes i dal neidr o amgylch fe ngwddf am y tro cyntaf ac roedd hi'n profiad od. Roedd hi'n dwym iawn heddiw ac roedd pawb yn chwysu. Fe wnaeth hi cyrraedd 27 gradd selsiws. Fe wnes i bwyta bara ffres o'r siop a ffrwythau neis doeddwn i ddim wedi trio o'r blaen. Fe ges i ddwr i yfed ac fe yfais llawer ohono. Nawr rydw i'n mynd gyda Trang a Coco i'r Freibad. Fe fyddwn ni'n cwrdd a pobl eraill yno. Hwyl am y tro.
Today was very good. We went to the reptile museum. It was very interesting but I don't like spiders. I held a snake around my neck and it was weird. It was very hot and sunny today but it was nice. It reached 27 degrees celcius. I had bread and fruit for lunch and i drank water. Now I am going to the Freibad with Trang and Coco. I will write tomorrow.

Heute habe ich mit die schule das weinberg besucht. Es war sehr interessant. Ich habe mit Joshua, Rhys und Mannuel, Conner und Ben, Callum und Peer, Rhodri und seinen partner, Elis und Didi und Tom und Gunnar in dem Freibad geschwommen, es war total spitze! Joshua hat zwei hunde, Sie heißen Barney und Luna. Barmey ist so groß wie ein kleines Pferd. Heute abend habe ich fußball in der disco gespielt es war sehr lustig. Die Walisier haben gegen die Deutschen gespielt, Leider hat Deutschland gewonnen, es war nicht so gut.
Heddiw wnaethon ni ymweld a winllan yn Sausenheim sydd yn perchen a Mr Siebert. Cerddon ni o gwympas y gwinllan am tua 2 awr a hanner. Fe dysgais i llawer amdano y fordd maent yn creu y Win mi roedd yn ddiddorol iawn. Ar ol cerdded o gwympas y winllan aethon ni i ty Mr Siebert yn Sausenheim lle wnaethon ni yfed llawer o sudd grawnwin roedd hyni yn blasus iawn. Wnaethon ni cael arogli y win oedd ar gael ond wnaeth Miss Evans cadw llygaid barcud arnynt i atal ni rhag ei yfed. Ar ol y trip es i gyda Joshua, Rhys a Mannuel ac llawer o pobl eraill. Roedd y pwll yn awyr agored ac roedd un yn poeth ac y llall mor oer a rhew. Gwarion ni tua 3 awr fyna cyn es i hefo Joshua i weld ei man ymarfer codi pwysau. Wnaethon ni edrych o gwympas y lle ac yna gefais y siawns i codi pwysau ac fe codais tua 40 Kg (edrychwch yn fy lluniau). Heno mi roedd yna disco ond ni oedd yna llawer o pobl tu fewn wnaethon ni chwarae gem o pel-droed Cymru yn erbyn Yr Almaen ac yn anffodus wnaeth hanes ail adrodd ei hun ac wnaeth Yr Almaen ennill. Yr unig dawns wnaeth pawb dawnsio i oedd Flieger gan Tim Troupet mi roedd hyni yn ddoniol.
Today we went to the Vineyard and we walked around for about 2 hours and learnt lots of facts about wine and the process of its making. This was very interressting, obviously I new it all after watching Oz and James Great Wine Adventures. After the walk we went to Mr Sieberts house were we learnt about the wines making and how they react in different conditions this was very interressting too. Miss James had to Translate for us so we could understand it. We tried lots of grapejuice it was lovley. We also had to smell the wine and say what we could smell so I already had my technique perfected from Oz and James so i could do this. We all wanted to try some but Miss Evans was Keeping a very close eye on us so we saddley could not. This afternoon we went swimming with the names listed above and it was very fun. We stayed mostley in the could pool in sted of the warm pool for some unknown reason. The sun was shimmering accross the outside pools. We were at the pool for over 3 hours but it was ver fun!In the pool there were some German girls that were there and they were asking the welsh people their names and This Girl When to Elis "What is your name?" Elis said "Elis" the girl whent very excited and said "Oh Elis in Wonder land" this was very funny! After the pool we went to were Joshua does his Weightlifting and he showed me the... Stuff. I was then scouted and was asked to lift some weights. I lifted 40Kg (see the pictures) Tonight we had a disco but everyone played football outside in stead of dansing. We had a Wales V Germany Game and saddly history stayed strong and Germany won. The only song everybody danced to was Flieger by Tim Troupe this was the funniest thing i've everseen.
Hi Mum and Dad i was homesick last night so I phoned Miss James and I felt a lot better. We did have a massive lightning storm last night it was really exciting. Nana and Dad cu I have some pictures of the Vineyard for you and I have bought you your Dry White and Dad I bought your Dry White and yes Oli I did get you the Grapejuice the whitone. Die Disco heute Abend war eigentilich keine Disco, weil es sooooooooo warm war! Fußball spielen und reden war viel besser. Aber am Ende des Abends haben wir das Fliegerlied zusammen gesungen ...

Roedd yn well gyda phawb eistedd tu allan yn yr awyr iach yn siarad gyda'u partneriaid neu'n chwarae pêl-droed - Cymru v Yr Almaen (ddim yn siwr o'r sgôr derfynol - ond doedd hi ddim yn argoeli'n dda pan oedd Cymru ar ei hôl hi o 4-1). Fodd bynnag, daeth pawb i'r neuadd ar ddiwedd y noson i ganu un o hoff ganeuon Adran Almaeneg YGBM gyda'n gilydd ...
Tonight's disco was a bit of a non-disco, but certainly not a non-event! Because it was so warm everyone sat outside in the fresh air, talking to their partners or taking part in the Wales v Germany football match (not sure of the final score, but at one point it was 4-1 to Germany ...). At the end of the evening we all came together to sing one of YGBM German Department's favourite songs ...

Heute, bin Ich nach der Weinberg gegangen. Es war sehr interessant und schön. Der Weinberg ist im besitz von Herr Siebert. Er ist ein freund von Familie mein freund Manuel. Er war sehr Lustig. Heute Abend,um 6 uhr Bin Ich nach die disco in Leninger Gymnasiums gegangen. Es war Prima. Mein freunde und ich hatten eine tolle zeit!. In Die Disco ich habe keine Pizza gegessen, Ich war nicht hungrig. Das Wetter war sehr Warm heute Abend auch. Morgen Ich werde die Reptilium mit die schule gehen. Es wird sehr interessant und spaß.

Today we visited a vinyard. It was very interessting and very pretty. The vinyard was owned by Herr Siebert who is a good friend of my partner Manuels´family. Herr Siebert was very funny. The vinyard was very large and very Green! Whilst going on our journey through the vinyard and also to Herr Sieberts´house we learned a lot about how Herr Siebert makes a living from making wine and also a little about the history of the vinyard. It was very interessting. Today was a beautiful day and it was very hot. After our trip to the vinyard. around 3 o´clock Manuel and I decided to go swimming in the outdoor pool with a couple of our friends it was brilliant! This evening around 6 o´clock, we all went to disgo at Leninger Gymnasiums, we all had a really good time playing football and basketball outside with eachother. we all danced together for the last song though. In the disgo i wasn´t very hungry so i didn´t eat any Pizza. Once again the weather was very hot this evening like it was during the day. Tomorrow the school have planned a visit to the Reptilium, the visit should be very interesting and fun.

Hello,Today we went vineyard and i drank grape juice and it was very nice !Nina,Molly,Theresa,Ulan,Judith,Jana,Susi,Bethan,Ffion and I went to a town called Worms.In the morning it was not very good weather but in the afternoon was very good,after Worms we went to the disco and had pizza,and i also played foot-ball and i had lots of fun !Thanks to Miss James,Mr Voyle,Mr Mason and Miss Evans we all had a good day !

Heute stand ich um 6:45am auf und gegessen cornflakes mit milch und orangesaft mit Leonie aber muter und vater, ich war sehr müde.
Dann habe ich gesehen Weinberg es war warm! Ich getrunken grape juice. Die Weinberg was sehr interessant und sehr gut. Herr Siebert und was sehr freundlich. Ich habe mir grape juice mit Charlotte gekauft!
Dann habe ich gegessen spaghettieis mit leah, jasi, charlotte und miriam! ich war sehr lecker! Ich gemacht ballet mit leonie und verena! Rowan hat uns dabei zugeguckt. Ballet in die grünstadt ist sehr anders. Dann war ich in der disco und habe pizza gegessen.

Roedd yn mor diddorol ac wahanol i ballet finau' Am 6pm aethon pawb i'r disco i dawnsio.. wel, siarad yn y cwrtiau tennis! Ond roedd grwp rowan yn dawnsio o hyd! Wedyn bu cefais pizza ac diod! Cwrddais a ffrindiau newydd neis, fel Sarah ac Coco. Wedyn ar ol tua 2 awr bu pawb yn dawnsio i can.

Hello wales, I woke for 6am this morning, wasn't impressed.. it was a huge difference to my normal time of 'last minute' I had a very interesting cornflake breakfast.. im so not coming to terms with the food differences yet. But the onlz thing i recognised was the average orange juice.. woo. After arriving at the school, i was greeted by so many different faces.. of which i still can't say all their names! Then we had a tiny tour of the school with them all, but got told off by a science professor because of using the lift.. naughty. We got shouted at in german.. yikes. It sounds so much more weirder in german when they shout.. more scarier! We went on a beautiful countryside walk to a wine yard this morning, we went thrue these amazing houses.. so big. I have a new love, grape juice, well, only Mr Siebert's grapejuice! At only 2.40 euros.. bargain. We don't get two drinks for that in wales.. I brought a botel for my mum.. i mean me with Charlotte. Charlotte got stressed not knowing what juice was in german..
After meeting up with our partners in school off we went to the ice cream parlour and shops! After advice from Miss Evans all 6 of us, Miriam, Jassi, Leah, Charlotte, Me and Leo bought spaghettieis! It was lush.
After that we jetted off shopping with trang and naomi and off to ballet with verena and rowan. I danced, whilst rowan tried and then watched. Ballet here is so different comparing to my homeland..
At 6pm off we went to the disco, but instead of the dancing in wales we sat in the tennis courts and chatted and socialised. It was all fun though. I had a pizza and about 200 drinks as it was so hot there. I met new friends, Coco and Sarah they were really nice.
After about 2 hours we all got up and danced and sang happy birthday to Fabienne..

Tomorrow i think we're all going to a Freibad and a Reptile Place.. wicked!

Hallo,
Heute habe ich corn flakes und joghurt vor früstück gegessen. Heute morgen bin ich 6:00 aufgestanden. Ich bin Leininger Gymnasium mit Luca gegangen. Ich finde die schule sehr groß und kalt. Danach habe ich weinberg gegangen. Die weinberg ist sehr groß. Ich habe traubensaft und wein gekauft. Die traubensaft ist sehr lecker. Heute Nachmittag habe ich fußball mit Luca Fabian Morgan Simon und Pascal gespielt. Fußball ist fantastisch. Es war warm und sehr sonnig. Heute Abend habe ich pizza gegessen. Ich habe getanzt. Es war ermüdend. Dann habe ich Germany's Next Top Model mit famillie ferngesehen.
Heddiw cefais i dydd llawn o bethau i gwneud. Dechreuais trwy godi am chwech. Roedd yn galed ar y bryd ond llwyddais. Am brecwast cefais i Corn Flakes a iogwrt. Roedd yn flasus. Cerddon ni o'r ysgol i fyny'r mynydd at y winllan i weld caeau yn mynd i bob cyfeiriad yn llawn grawnwyn. Cerddon ni lawr i ty perchennog y caeau a cafon ni y siawns i blasu sydd grawnwyn a gwynto gwin. Roedd y sydd grawnwyn yn gwych felly prynais 2 botel ohono a botel o win i fy rhieni. Ar ol cyrraedd gartref aethon ni i'r park gyda Morgan a Fabian. Roedd mor boeth yno ay roedd mar heulog ac i gwneud pethau'n waeth doedd dim cysgod. Yn y nos cafon ni disgo a pizza i bwyta. Roedd yn blinedig iawn ond yn nos da iawn. Cwrddais a llawer o pobl newydd yn y disgo heddiw.
I had an amaying day today at first the weather looked bad and as we were walking to through the grape fields it was a bit chilly and slightly wet, but as the day went on the weather got better and better by the time we had the disgo it was lovely and sunny again, just like yesterday. We are going to a reptile house tommorrow and i'm sure it will be very interesting. I'm looking forward to having a good day tommorrow and i hope the weather continues to be this good. To bad the weather in Wales is never like this.

Heute morgen, ich habe cornflakes gegessen. Ich bin mit Luca und anderen Freunden zum Bus gelaufen. Luca´s Familie ist sehr freundlich! Die wanderung mit Herr Siebert in der Weinberg, Herr siebert ist sehr interresant und freundlich! Mittags, ich bin geschwommen mit Luca, Gunnar, Didi, Manuel, Callum, Rhodri, Lewis, Conner, Joshi und Rhys. Schwimmen war sehr gut! Die Disco und Tanzen war gut und ich war müde danach. Luca hilft mir viel beim Schreiben!

Luca and I got up at ten past six in the morning and ate cornflakes. We walked to bus station where we met Ulan and Judith. Riding on the bus to school was very funny. We wandered round the beauitful vinyard and listened to Mr Siebert talk about his many grapes. It was very interesting and I left the vinyard with loads of photo's of the amazing scenery. The wine smelling was so fun even though I did, as was spookily predicted by Lewis, knock over a glass of water! Mr Siebert grape-shaking machine was awesome and very cool. In the afternoon we all went to the outdoor swimming pool and we all had shock when we jumped into the freezing swimming pool! We were playing with this yellow sponge ball in the pool when it rolled under a guy sleeping on a bench and when Manuel went to retreive it we woke him up by accident, it was so embarassing! The disco was very fun but tiring. It has taken me several atempts to write some sentances with this strange keyboard!

Heute, ich gehen nach die Weinberg. Die Weinberg war gut. Danach, ich ging mit dem bus mit Fabian, Luca und Ronan nach Hause. Ich habe würstchen, karttoffelbrei und karotten mit Sabine und Fabian gegessen, es war köstlich! Ich habe fußball mit Fabian, Luca und Ronan gespielt. Später, ich habe gehen zu der disco in der aula, es war kühl. Ich habe fusßball mit meine freunde und deutschen gespielt.

After we left for the disco where we played a football match against all of the German partners, it was very fun!
