THANK YOU SO MUCH

Hallo,
auch von der deutschen Seite, der daheimgebliebenen Organisatoren, VIELEN LIEBEN DANK an die Gasteltern und die Kollegen von Bro Morgannwg. Mal wieder haben wir eine Austauschrunde erfolgreich durchführen können. Alle Teilnehmer schwärmen in den höchsten Tönen von Ihrem Aufenthalt.

Doch für uns ( Miss James, Frau Schleifer und Frau Naeser) laufen schon die Vorbereitungen für die nächste Runde. Wir haben heute die deutschen Teilnehmer ausgewählt und diese erhalten morgen noch vor den Zeugnissen die gute Nachricht, dass sie dabei sind (die Mutter einer früheren Teilnehmerin hat letzte Woche erzählt, dass das vor zwei Jahren für ihre Tochter wichtiger war als das Zeugnis). Sobald die Schüler ihren Bogen abgegeben haben, werden wir (Frau Schleifer und ich) in der ersten Ferienwoche die deuteschen Schüler den walisischen Partnern zuteilen, so dass möglichst noch vor den walisischen Sommerferien erste emails ausgetauscht werden können.

as the part of the German organizing team who had to stay at home ( due to medical reasons) I'd also like to say thank you sooooo much to the wonderful host families and to the teachers at Bro Morgannwg who again made the stay for the Germans a moment to treasure. All the students and the teachers are still raving about the awesome week they had in Wales.

But for us (Miss James, Frau Schleifer and Frau Naeser) work on the next round of the exchange has already begun. We selected the German participants today and they will receive the news tomorrow (even before they'll get their reports on Friday. The mother of a former participant from 2 years ago just told me this week, that knowing she could take part in the exchange was more important to her daughter than the results on her report - and she is an excellent student). The students then have to fill in a sheet with information about themselves and in our first week of vacation Frau Schleifer and I will do the matching and send the material back to Wales so that the first e-mails can be exchanged even before the Welsh summer break.
